The back entry from the garage (with access to the first floor bathroom, kitchen, and basement stairs) has lots of storage down below for shoes, boots, mittens, hats and gloves, etc. plus storage high up for kitchen and misc. stuff.
It also has a broom closet and a radiator… which is handy for warming things up and thawing things out in the winter.
