Other appliances

Since we’re buying a new condo, all our current appliances are included in the sale of the house. L to R:

• Whirpool hood combination microwave; Maytag dishwasher; Kenmore gas stove
• Whirlpool refrigerator w/ freezer on top and icemaker
• Sears Kenmore washer and dryer
• Hampton Bay dehumidifier (used in the basement)
• Carrier window air conditioner (new this summer). It’s a big unit that sits in the window in the stairway to the second floor. It can keep the whole house cool.

Boiler (radiators!), water heater

The house is heated by radiators — a great way to heat, IMHO. (The photo of the black radiator is from the large room in the basement, making it a very livable space.) We had a new Lochinvar natural gas boiler installed in the late 90s and at the same time, a new State water heater.

Culligan soft water, drinking water

Left: The soft water conditioner — 25 years old or more — gave out last week so we had Culligan install a new one, now on a rental arrangement. Center and right: we’ve had a Culligan filtered drinking water system for many years.
